3 Weeks in Springfield, MO.

      Sherry, Philip, Jonathan and I arrived in Springfield, MO yesterday afternoon (July 4th) for three weeks of meetings.  During this three week period we will attend World Area Director's meetings, Europe Area Director's meetings and School of Missions.
      At the World Area Director's meeting we gain a broad view of what God is doing around the world; in the Europe Area Director's meetings we focus on the Europe Region and at School of Missions Area Studies we have an opportunity to focus directly on what God is doing in Central Europe. In all of these meetings we keep our hearts open to how God, by his Holy Spirit is moving and then strategize on how we can become a part of that.
      Of course, one of the highlights of our time in Springfield is meeting with missionaries from Central Europe who are home on deputation and meeting with the new missionaries who are soon to leave for the field. Today we met Tim & Karyn Mann (Austria); Jason & Andrea Morrison (Czech Republic); Dave & Audra Daniels, Malichi and Micah (Germany) and John Koeshall (Germany). These are the candidate missionaries soon to arrive on the field.
