This morning I had the honor of preaching at the Capital City Church in Warsaw. The church was founded in 1947 though persecuted, It survived under communism. In 1982 Rev. Edward Czajko began the construction of the present building. It was built on land that the communist allowed them to purchase because the land was considered one of the worst building places in all of Warsaw. Today that land is the most valuable land in all of Poland. Rev. Edward Kuczynsky is now the pastor of the church.
This evening we held a Poland field fellowship. We met for a time
of fellowship, prayer and planning. Pictured in the photo to the left are A/G Missionaries: Rich, Lori & Josh McLane (Warsaw); David, Michele, David Jr. & Peter Lewindowski (Wroclaw); Dennis & Diane Holcomb (Szczecin) and I. Curt, Sara, Daniel & Beth Hobbs (Krakow) are a part of the Poland team but not in the photo. They are presently on iteneration and will return to Poland in April.
