New Jersey Youth Worker's Team Visits Austria and Hungary

     At 11:30 AM this morning a team of 6 youth workers, led by New Jersey District Youth Director Fabian Kalapuch, boarded the plane to return back the the USA. The team was here for a week and ministered in both Austria and in Budapest Hungary.
    In Austria the team worked with the Vienna Master's Commission and also Vienna Student's for Christ Group. In Budapest the team organized and led a Central Europe Youth Worker's Conference. Youth workers and representatives from 3 countries attended the conference. The team members shared from their experience and their hearts about the need and methods of reaching young people with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. New Jersey District Youth Team Arrive in Central Europe

    This morning at 8:50 AM a team of youth pastors arrived in Vienna from the state of New Jersey. The team is being led be District Youth Director Fabian Kalapuch. The team will spend sometime ministering in Austria then head this weekend to Budapest, Hungary were they will hold a Central Europe Youth Worker's Conference. Youth workers from across Europe will attend the conference. Welcome Fabian and New Jersey Youth Pastors!

Missionaries Steve & Astrid Dunn Celebrate Church's 10th Anniversary / Dedicate New Church Building

     It was my honor to attend a two day celebration of the 10th year anniversary and new building dedication of the the New Life Church in Moosburg, Germany. The celebration was held on April 21-22 at the new church building in Moosburg.
    Ten years ago Missionaries Steve and Astrid Dunn followed the leading of the Holy Spirit to plant a church in Moosburg. The first meetings were held in a hotel near the center of town, but as the church grew they knew they needed a building of their own. With God helps they were able to build a new building just outside of town, in
the "perfect spot" right along the highway.
    Steve, Astrid and their family, are dearly loved by the people in the church. They are also well respected in the community. Testimony to this are the dignitaries who attended the celebration: The Mayor of the City of Moosburg, several pastors from the town's ministerium, the regional Presbyter for the German Pentecostal church as well as pastor's and members from other pentecostal churches in the surrounding area. Also attending were Rick & Minna Boettiger and their family, fellow A/G missionaries.

New Jersey Construction Team Completes Mission

    Today a construction team from New Jersey boarded the plane to head back home to the USA. The team, headed by The Assemblies of God New Jersey District Mission's Director Rich Leksell, spent a week in Warsaw, Poland helping to complete the building project for the Warsaw Theological Seminary.
    I spoke on the phone today with Missionary Rich McLane about how the week went. Rich said, "It was fantastic! The team worked really hard and did a great job. They completed everything they came to complete." Another team from New Jeresey will be coming this fall to help complete the building project. Thanks Rich and the New Jersey team for all your help!

Pentecostal Church in Switzerland

    On April 12-13, I was in Switzerland meeting with Rev. Max Schläpfer, the General Superintendent of the German speaking Swiss Pentecostal Church. During my stay, we visited the local church in Bern and Brother Schläpfer and I met with other leaders in the national church.

Training Russian Speaking Pentecostals in Germany

     The photo on the left was taken in front of BEROA: the Pentecostal Bible School of Germany.  Two other Assemblies of God missionaries and I met with Russian and German leaders to discuss the possibility of the A/G Seminary in Kiev beginning extension classes for Russian Pentecostals who are living in Germany.
    Attending the meeting with me were representatives from: the Russian Pentecostal church in Germany; BEROA: the Pentecostal Bible school in Germany; Evangel Theological Seminary in Kiev and the Assemblies of God Germany Missionary Field Fellowship.
    The two Assemblies of God missionaries in the photo are: Ditmar Mittelstaedt--Director of ICI/Global University in Germany (directly to my right), and Dr. David Nelson--President of Evangel Theological Seminary in Kiev (first person on the left).
