Slovak Leaders Meet to Record the Past and Prepare for the Future

Jim Pictured with Leaders of Slovak Pentecostal Church    This week, the leaders of the Slovak Pentecostal Church met together in the village of Jasna for an executive meeting and also to begin writing a history of the Pentecostal church in Slovakia. General Superintendent of the Slovak Pentecostal Church, Jan Lacho (pictured fifth from the right) says, "there is no written history of our church. Recording it is important for us and for future generations." The other members of the executive committee (pictured in the photo) agree, "by understanding our past, we can better understand our future."
I was invited to attend this historic meeting and share our vision for the future and how we as the Assemblies of God Would Missions can work together with the Slovak Pentecostal church to reach the Slovak people and the world. There are presently no Assemblies of God Missionaries in Slovakia. This is a priority prayer for me and so I would like to ask you to pray with me. Please pray that God will send missionaries to Slovakia.
