A Visit to Berlin

Evening_at_berlin      We had a great trip to Berlin. We visited with all of the missionaries in Berlin as well as others from Germany. It was great to visit with them and hear about the great things that God is doing.
One evening we visited the city's center. It was a bit rainy that evening, but the city was filled with people and with lights. Here is a photo I took as we cross the main street in Berlin.
Please pray for Berlin and our missionaries who live and minister there.

Assemblies of God Executives and Regional Director Visit Central Europe

We were honored to have visiting with us Brothers Trask, Garrison, Bridges, Mundis and their wives. Brother Trask is the former General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Brother Garrison is the Assistant General Superintendent, Brother Bridges is the General Treasurer of the Assemblies of God and Brother Mundis is the Europe Regional Director for the Assemblies of God World Missions.
Their visit began in Moosburg, Germany where they visited the church of missionaries Steve and Astrid Dunn. We then traveled to Vienna, Austira. While in Vienna, we held a reception for our guests. Many of the missionaries from Central Europe and national leaders attended the reception.
On Sunday each had an opportunity to preach in a different location. Brother Trask spoke at the Austrian church in Vienna, Brother Garrison spoke at the Vienna Christian Center and Brother Bridges spoke at a Slovak church in Bratislava, Slovakia.
From Vienna the team traveled to Garmish, Germany were they were guests at the Assemblies of God Military Ministries Conference.

Europe Regional Director Vists Church in Czech Republic

New Church Building-Breclav, Czech Republic    Greg & Sandie Mundis (Europe Regional Director), Sherry and I drove to Breclav, Czech Republic to see a new church building. The last time I visited this building it was an empty shell. But thanks to the help from Assemblies of God church teams from the USA, the empty building is now a thriving church.
Pastor Frank and the people of the church are exciting about the new facility that God has given the church to reach the community. They now have children's, youth and adult outreaches to the surrounding communities. In the photo are Greg & Sandie Mundis , Jason & Andrea Morrison (A/G Missionaries to the Czech Republic), Pastor Frank (Senior Pastor) and Pastor Karl (Assistant Pastor).

Penn/Del District MAPS Team Helps Build Church in Vienna, Austria

Pennsylvania-Delaware District MAPS Construction TeamA team from the Pennsylvania-Delaware District of the Assemblies of God, came to Vienna on a MAPS building construction trip. The team came to help with the construction of the new church facility for Vienna Christian Center. The group was lead by Rev. David Crosby and his wife Betty. Since the Penn/Del District is our home district, Sherry and I were glad that we could spend some time together with the Crosby's and the team and work right along side of them. I can tell you, this was a hard working team!
